TAS: Fruitless lake search for fisherman and son

HOBART, Aug 30 AAP - Searchers today found no trace of a man and his son who are feared
drowned in a Tasmanian lake.

Police divers and boats searched Arthurs Lake and its shores all day for the 30-year-old
Hobart man and his nine-year-old son.

They disappeared yesterday after their five metre aluminium dinghy became semi-submerged
during a family fishing trip on the popular trout lake in the central highlands.

Other fishermen rescued the man's five-year-old son and 53-year-old father.
